It's been almost a week now since we found out that our baby is a girl and I can't stop thinking. I'm so excited, it's now becoming real. I feel pretty good for the most part. I've had little morning sickness but only in the morning not like the first 3 months when it was morning, noon and night.
Doug and I went to Babies R Us for the first time on Friday night (yes my Friday nights have defintitely changed but I'm enjoying the change) what a sensory overload. I couldn't believe that a baby would need all that. They even had bath tubs with a whirlpool in them. I don't know alot about babies but I'm pretty sure they're not hot tubbing it at 3 months old. Although considering that's how Doug and I got together maybe our baby will be most comfortable there. :) hee hee hee.
Doug and I completed our partners pre-natal yoga class and I've started mothers pre-natal yoga. I love going to the classes, even though everyone is a little more earthy than me. For example most of the women there are doing the "All Natural" child birth thing. Some of them have never even seen a doctor and are doing it all through midwifes. All of the things they tell me about the birthing centers sound great but then there is that one exception that screams out at me and I always have to follow up with "but you can't get the drugs there". I'm sorry but I'm all about the drugs!!! I'm not about to go through this whole delivery thing and feel it. Why would I want to do that? As my good friend Carrie says, disasters are natural too.
I had my first Texas barbecue the other night. I've decided that I will need to try as many as possible so I'll know the best ones to take all my visitors to when they come out. I've been taking a lot of walks around Town Lake which is absolutely beautiful. There are so many people it's a real social scene out there. People running, walking, biking, families, dogs, singles, everyones out there. It's a realy city! I love it.
This picture was taken Friday night I'm just a little over 5 months pregnant now. More than half way there. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
